My name is Miguel Melo, born in Feira de Santana, Bahia, the famous Princess of the Sertão. They say that Bahia's jewels make their debut there. At the age of two, I went to live in the countryside of Ariquemes, Rondônia, with a totally different culture from my homeland. I began my journey as a video editor in a production company in the countryside, and from then on, my curiosity in the audiovisual and advertising worlds took over.
At the age of 19, self-taught, I moved to Salvador as a Motion Designer at Usina Creative. There I had the privilege of reconnecting with the culture and tourism of Salvador/BA. I took part in some projects that had a direct impact on the way Salvador was shown to the world, such as the rebrand of the city's tourism brand and some animations for the global brand Manscaped, New York.
At the age of 24, I moved to São Paulo at the invitation of my mentor, Hugo Aranha (Head Designer), to work as a Motion Designer at Africa Creative DDB, as I continue to develop my career.
